In the dynamic and evolving market of ETFs, our clients look to SPDRs for leadership and education on the solutions ETFs can provide. State Street Global Advisors is looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to lead our US PEFCO Sales team for the SPDRS business.
As a member of our Institutional Sales team, you will be responsible for bringing the best of the SPDRs brand and act as a subject matter expert to our growing PEFCO channel. As the leader of this team, your responsibilities will include direct coverage and development of PEFCO relationships, growing our client franchise, developing and delivering against sales plans and mentoring and managing the team.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment and have real passion for ETFs, the financial markets and the institutional sales process. The ideal applicant will have established client relationships and prior sales experience in the institutional asset owner segment as well as the enthusiasm to continuously expand their network of clients and prospects.
As an institutional ETF specialist, the candidate will be responsible for bringing the best of the SPDR brand and act as a subject matter authority to our client base of pensions, endowments and foundations as well as the OCIOs and Investment Consultants that serve these clients. Responsibilities will include direct client coverage, prospecting, developing a sales plan and executing the strategy for the PEFCO Channel. The successful candidate will develop a deep understanding of our products, our clients and our firm. Additionally, the SPDR Sales Executive must have the skills to effectively communicate, collaborate and coordinate across the State Street organization including other client-facing Institutional Sales teams (particularly with the SSGA Global Institutional Group), the SPDR Capital Markets Group, SPDR Marketing, SPDR Fixed Income, SPDR Research and Product teams.
This role is part our Institutional Sales team, reporting directly to the Head of US Institutional Sales.
