Our Investment Technology, Data & Performance (ITDP) group is currently seeking an Investment Officer (IO) III to be the advanced working and lead level in the Investment Technology Management unit. The incumbent will interact with CalPERS’ investment leadership and peers within asset class program areas, vendors, in addition to management and peers within the Information Technology Services Branch (ITSB) organization.
Duties include but are not limited to:
As lead, recommend implementation and project approaches for investment business systems necessary to influence the success of INVO’s overall investment and technology strategies.
Perform vendor relationship management and technology platform support and governance at an advanced level using best practice methods.
Lead the most complex systems analysis and solution implementations.
Review and approve the internal investment systems, processes, and data analysis documentation.
Drive continuous improvement and optimize Technology Management operational processes to align with INVO organizational systems, business needs and controls to reduce operational risk.
Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, methodologies, and trends to inform the success of INVO’s overall investment and technology strategies.
