Sr. Investment Data Analyst – #44044

Reporting to the Director of Data Management, the Senior Analyst plays an important role in planning, developing, and executing new investment data related initiatives, as well as providing data support for the various investment teams and downstream applications within UC Investments. The Senior Analyst is primarily responsible maintaining the Investment Book of Record by ensuring accuracy and granularity investment exposures and transactions data for all assets under management. This individual will analyze and resolve any data issues, while ensuring that internal and external partners are communicated on status data. They will work closely with the investment, operations, compliance, and risk teams to develop new reports and analytics to support the investment decision making process at all levels.

The Senior Analyst will have the opportunity to work with large sets of investment data and relation tables/structures across various disciplines including Performance & Attribution, Risk, Accounting, Compliance, and Asset Allocation. The individual in this role will be the main point of contact to address data related issues including maintenance of custom data and mapping tables, configure reports and reporting scripts, identifying and resolving data gaps, and providing oversight to daily and monthly data feeds to and from downstream systems. As a member of the team they will support the office by developing a thorough understanding of our governing body, stakeholders, portfolio structures, benchmarks, and systems, as well as identifying and executing on ways to challenge/improve current processes to increase efficiency and data accuracy throughout the UC Investments and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with the different teams.
