Supervises team of data scientists, IT specialists, engineers, developers, or other staff engaged in the design, architecture, development, deployment, and management of AI/ML and other advanced analytical and innovative models, applications, tools, and solutions on cloud computing platforms.
Manages and oversees AI/ML Ops and end-to-end planning, prototyping and development, deployment to production, and maintenance of AI/ML, Natural Language Processing (NLP), predictive analytics, deep learning, and other innovative or advanced analytical models, applications, tools, and solutions on cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Plans and implements Azure, AWS, or other cloud platform and open source computing capabilities, tools, and services to support AI/ML, NLP, deep learning, automation, and other advanced analytics.
Collects and analyzes requirements, interfaces with internal customers and stakeholders, and designs or recommends solutions, innovations, and improvements.
Serves as a subject matter expert, provides guidance and advice, Identifies and recommends strategic investments in IT infrastructure, tools, and maintains knowledge of the overall and rapidly changing technical landscape in AI/ML and other cutting edge technologies and analytical methods.
Oversees portfolio of AI/ML and advanced analytics models, solutions, and technology projects and coordinates program activities including process management, agile project management, risk management, project planning, portfolio management, status reporting, capital planning, project budgets, contracts, staffing requirements analysis, product owner and customer engagement and support.
Performs supervisory duties, such as performance management, training, awards, and recruitment; and keeps employees informed regarding the policies, procedures, and goals of the Office as they relate to their work on assigned projects.
