About the Opportunity:
We are actively seeking an individual to join the staff as an Operations Associate. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to take an active role in the operations of a growing organization. It is a Full-Time, Hybrid role.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Oversight of the firm’s Operations function in conjunction with the Management Committee
- Ensure trade settlement for listed equities and foreign exchange transactions
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly reporting and reconciliation files as necessary
- Assistance with preparation of regulatory filings (13F, FORM ADV, etc.) and reporting (Form N-PX)
- Work closely with traders, brokers, custodians, and fund administrators
- Complete additional duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3‐5 years of relevant experience in trade operations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (ability to write/maintain macros and other advanced formulas)
- Ability to multitask
- Highly organized
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset
- Desire to work in a small, growing firm
Systems experience:
- Bloomberg Required
- SS&C EZE PMA a plus
- Experience or familiarity with coding a plus
